Aidan Meighan graduated from Bristol UWE in 2010 with a degree in Illustration. He now lives and works on the Quantocks in Somerset as a cartographer and illustrator.

Whereabouts Maps began in 2012 when Aidan received a commission to draw a personalised map of a customers home. He created a style drawing and method to map almost any location on the planet with a relatively quick turn around and at an affordable price, whilst maintaining the high quality and finish synonymous with his work. And so began Whereabouts Maps.

With the support of the Princes Trust (with whom Aidan now volunteers as a Young Ambassador) Aidan has drawn many Whereabouts Maps across the globe.

He continues to work on a variety of illustration projects, in particular editorial maps in a range of styles for several publications.

Aidan recently moved from Bristol to the beautiful Quantock Hills with his wife and fellow illustrator, Hannah Bailey (http://hannah-bailey.co.uk). An octagonal gatehouse is their home and their studio. When not drawing, they are growing vegetables and enjoying the beautiful countryside beyond, propagating bizarre specimens of houseplants and inventing games to play in the garden.
